Australians consume 37 million kilos of coffee each year, of which only 0.5% is locally grown. Traditionally Australian coffee has been very expensive to use locally with majority of beans exported overseas to fill up other regions crops.
Given the current coffee industry climate, facing the largest global price rises it has seen in years, it is great to see local coffee now become accessible.
